ITIL Asset Scanner Software

Developed for asset management requirements where physical asset inventorying of assets that use bar codes or Radio Frequency ID (RFID) tags is required, Monitor 24-7's Asset Scanner is available to all IncidentMonitor™ customers. The Asset Scanner can play a key role in helping organizations manage the lifecycle of their assets, from IT equipment to furniture to vehicles, to name a few.

With the Asset Scanner software, users can work in a connected, wireless or standalone mode to inventory physical office locations. This inventorying process identifies known assets and more importantly unknown assets. Inventorying a location provides a complete list of the assets that should be found and therefore expedites the process of completing the inventory cycle. Users can upload scanned barcode and RFID data into IncidentMonitor™ to help improve cost management of owned or leased equipment.
